Timeless, Perfect Black + Gold Nashville Wedding
In my free time, I play with graphic design and I get to work with super creative brides and help make some of their dreams a reality on their big day. I’ve known Victoria forever and when she contacted me about some of her awesome Nashville wedding ideas, I was so excited to help! She wanted a classic black and gold everything – so timeless!
Victoria + Blake had the most perfect wedding photos, it was actually hard for me to decide what I wanted to feature but I decided just to show the highlights of what Victoria and I worked on together… and a gorgeous shot of her bridal portrait, isn’t she stunning? No detail was left untouched, from the place cards to the signs placed throughout, Victoria thought of everything to make their big day amazing and totally ‘branded’. Still trying to talk her into starting her own wedding planning business. Her photographer, Dear Wesleyann was amazing [can be contacted here] & I’m so excited my (ok, ours.. I literally just threw together Victoria’s ideas, she thought of everything) designs were photographed so beautifully!
As most of the life celebrations I like to design, a ‘logo’ is the perfect way to set the tone. Victoria used a simple but chic logo that was very ‘vogue’ – a serif type monogram that was a classic touch on every piece of her wedding. We combined the classic serif with a super formal script that was the perfect mix!
As always, the custom logo on the invitation suite sets the tone for the entire event.
Isn’t this menu so classic? And don’t get me started on the place setting + flatware. Gorgeous!
We did coordinating table numbers & she put them in the most fabulous frames! We used the same fonts on everything for a seamless look throughout the event. And can you get over these flowers? Love Love Love.
The wedding program, like the menu, was in a long, slender design with the classic monogram logo that was used on every element.
Isn’t this frame perfect? A sign designed to welcome guests at the entrance of the event & placed on a pretty gold easel, perfect!
This is not only a beautiful shot of some of the floral arrangements, but these place cards were stunning. I used an amazing black paper that was so pretty on it’s own but when we added the pop of gold foil name & coordinating table number, these little tent cards became so elegant.
Such a stunning bride! This. dress. is. everything. And talk about a wedding planner… one of the most organized and detailed brides ever.
Gold foil ‘sip, sip hooray’ for the bar! I love that the V | B monogram was used on everything!
A girl after my own heart… Taco Bell as a late night snack. What a fun idea!? We even made a pretty sign to display with the tacos 🙂
In keeping with the gold theme, aren’t pompoms the perfect exit idea? Any chance for pompoms, tassels or confetti is ok in my book!!
Menu for the bar in coordinating fonts. She really thought of everything, y’all… look at those matching coasters!!
Aren’t these photos amazing? Victoria and Blake’s wedding was STUNNING and I was so happy to be able to share a little piece of it. I’m excited to start sharing more of the weddings I’ve been a part of but knew this was a perfect one to start with!
